The Hotels

CASTIGLIONE:

A short walk to the stadium, with nearby restaurants, town and hypermarket. A basic but very clean and modern hotel. New room and bathroom, spacious and comfortable, with a good breakfast in the downstairs; excellent value. Run by a very friendly couple who both speak English.

CILIVERGHE:
Located in a strategic point between Brescia and Lake Garda, we always receive a great welcome from the manager and his staff. The rooms are spacious and welcoming. In the morning we had a great breakfast, followed later by the daily-designed lunch.

PADENGHE:

If you love your Premier League football or your rugby, head here. Slightly off the beaten track, this is a hidden gem and has pulled the stops to replicate the English Public House. If you are a football lover (we went to the San Siro for the home game the next day) rather than a shopper or an Opera lover, then this is the spot for you.

The walls are festooned with English (and some Scottish) football memorabilia and it has a few screens with BBC news and Sky football on.
